Remote Field Barn - Yorkshire Dales National Park

On instruction from a large country estate we carried out structural repairs to this remote field barn.

• We carefully removed the temporary timber prop fitted by others many years ago.
• We re-built the stonework using Natural Hydraulic Lime mortar and fitted a new timber lintel. 
• Generally we repaired loose areas of stonework and patch pointed.
• We carried out slate repairs, re-bedded the stone ridge and pointed.
